Fountain Valley Repiping Specialists
Does your house need a repipe?
- You have, or have had a slab leak
- You have leaking or corroded pipes
- Your house has galvanized piping
- You are experiencing low water pressure
- You have problems running more than one fixture at a time
- You have rusty or discolored water
The low water pressure you feel is actually due to a low volume of water. As galvanized pipes age, the rust and corrosion cause the inside diameter of the pipe to close off, restricting the flow of water. At the same time the reduced volume of water in the system is not sufficient to supply multiple fixtures at one time. The rust within the pipes is also transferred to your water that you are bathing with or worse, drinking. Eventually the rust will eat completely through the iron pipe and you will experience leaks or total failure.
About slab leaks:
If your Fountain Valley house was plumbed with soft copper tubing beneath the concrete slab foundation, you may experience under slab leaks. These leaks can be repaired by locating the leak and cutting into the slab to access and repair the leak. The problem with this type of repair is that another future leak is likely somewhere else in the under slab system. The only permanent solution is to repipe, bypassing all of the under slab pipes
